Currently living in Quinby, SC, Kevin Wykoff has been playing music under the project name Slug's Revenge for about six years now. He plays primarily educational music, covering a broad range of issues such as militarization, environmental issues, and corporate globalization. He also plays much of the traditional bluegrass, country, folk and old time music he grew up on. Kevin has always had music around him, most especially on his Dad's side, which was rooted in southwestern Virginia.

Globe Forest Defense Campaign Presentation

The U.S. Forest Service plans to sell over 200 acres of mature, hardwood forest (including rare old growth) to logging companies. Our campaign intends to stop them. At this event local activists will present information about the campaign, a short video, and details about an upcoming action camp. Rally and Speak Out Against Racism and Hate Speech!

On Monday, September 14 at 12:00pm the UNC Protesters Defense Committee will host a rally and press conference at the Peace and Justice Plaza on the steps of the Chapel Hill Courthouse (Franklin Street in front of the post office.) We invite community members to gather to show support for student and community protesters who were targeted by police and university administrators after the April protests of Youth for Western Civilization.

Internationalist Tables at the NC Pride Festival!

Come celebrate LGBTQ pride with Internationalist Books at the 25th annual NC Pride Festival! The festival, which takes place on Duke University's East Campus in Durham, will feature tons of vendors, community groups, performers, and thousands of LGBTQ North Carolinians. Internationalist Books will host a table all day with a unique selection of radical and progressive LGBTQ-themed books as well as magazines, stickers, and more. Hope to see you there!
